Rules and Regulations
Of
U. P. NON OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION

i. The name of Society is “U. P. NON OLYMPIC ASSOCIATION” (UPNOA)

ii. The Registered Office of the Society shall be situated in Lucknow (U.P.) ‘ Present Head Office Address – – RajaniGandhaApptt., 2nd Floor, 3 Gokhale Marg, Lucknow

iii. Working area of Association – Whole U.P.

iv. The objects for which the Society is registered are :.

1. To promote Non-Olympic Games and take all necessary steps to this end.

2. To Identify & Promote all Traditional, Rural and Conventional Games of the State which are not finding place in the Olympic Charter.

3. To bring together and to promote activities of Non Olympic games and enforce relevant sub regulation.

4. To help upcoming sport persons of the state to improve their talents / standard to bring laurels to the state.

5. To give financial support to the associate sports association of various games.

6. To provide technical experts, referee, umpires and observers of different Non Olympic Games.

7. To represent the interests of its members at State Level with regard to the authorities, other sports Association, the mass media and the public.

8. To promote sporting relation between all state association & sports-games-players and to organize all Non Olympic Games, state games etc.

9. To monitor and ensure the observation of the existing system-specific rules, to develop a set of standard rules (in as for as the technical peculiarities of the stadium allow it) and to draw up a State Sporting Calendar.

10. To make all out efforts to promote the welfare of sports person in the field of Education, Employment, Medical treatment etc and awarding the sports talent of the state.

11. To promote the opening of Academies, sports schools / sports colleges in the State innear future.

12. To promote and search opportunities in Sport Fields / Rural Areas / particular areas for developing those games which were up till now not identified at any level.

13. To work for inclusion of representative of UPNOA in State Sports Ministry / Sports Committees and various Sports Directorate Committee to protect the interest of genuine sportsman / women.

14. To raise fund for promotion of Non Olympic Sports form various sources.

15. To organize study groups for identifying Non Olympic Games / Traditional Games / Rural Games and exchange of views for total upliftment of sports activities at National / International level.

16. To take disciplinary action against any Association for misbehavior of any other undesirable activity to discredits to the State, country and sports.

17. To promote and encourage the physical, moral and cultural education of the youth of the nation for the charter, good health and good citizenship.

18. UPNOA is a State Non Governmental&Non Profit Organization and the State Umbrella Organization of all Non Olympic / Traditional Games.

v. Financial Year of the Association

The Official year, including financial year, of the UPNOA shall be from 1st April to 31st March.

vi. Membership

The membership of the Association shall be open to the under mentioned, subject to the approval ofExecutive Committee of UPNOA –

A. The First Founder Members ( FFMs):

The Executive Committee has approved status of first founder members to Mr. P. L. Punia (IAS), Dr. Kashmir Singh (IPS), Mr. K.N. Sharma, Mr. A. K. Saxena&Er. MasoodSiddiqui. Who have taken first initiative to create the UPNOA.

B. Hony. Members :

This will includes the Patron-in-Chief / Chief Patron / First Patrons / Patrons / Special Invitees / Life Member and SPORTS Personalities. They shall be appointed with the consent of the CHAIRMAN, PRESIDENT and FFM s.

C. Active Members :

This category will comprise of two categories –

i. Direct Promoter Members including N.R.I.

ii. Members of Affiliated Associations. – President or Secretary or one nominee representative

D. Groups Members :

Institutions of all categories i.e. SCHOOLS / COLLEGES / CORPORATE/ BUSINESS GROUPS etc. can become a group members of UPNOA.

VII. Membership Fees (Admission Fee & Annual Renewal Fee):

(A) The amount & rate of membership fees of different types of membership shall be fixed and revised by FFMS/ Ex. Committee / General Body from time to time.

(B) At present fee for admission to membership of the Association, as well as Annual Renewal Fee Payable shall be as follows:
